Getting around Las Vegas is fairly easy. The Strip and downtown are very pedestrian friendly, and close to the airport. Most visitors take a hotel shuttle from the airport and then either take taxis or walk the rest of their stay. Air Travel—McCarran International Airport is located 5 miles south of downtown Las Vegas, making trips to the Strip and downtown easy and relatively cheap.
