Las Vegas doesn’t have a world class zoo like many other cities of its size, but there is lots of wildlife to be found…in the hotels! Yes, most of the larger hotels have some kind of wildlife exhibit featuring cats, sharks or birds, such as: Lion Habitat at MGM Grand There are 31 lions which are rotated in and out for this free exhibit. Lions are housed in a ranch off-site during the evenings.

Secret Garden & Dolphin Habitat at the Mirage Siegfried & Roy have chosen the Mirage to be home to their luxurious habitat designed especially for cats. In addition to the white tigers and lions you can see panthers and other species. If the cats aren’t enough to excite you, there is a 2.5 million gallon tank that is home to bottlenose dolphins to provide awareness and showcase these gentle creatures.
